Tournament?
In July 2011, Peter and Allison Campbell lost their beloved
daughter, Maddie, to cancer at the age of 8. Throughout
their journey, Kids Cancer Care helped the family and provided significant inspirational support in so many ways that the Campbell family always wanted to give back. They always wanted to build something that was fun for people to enjoy together, while fundraising for such an amazing cause.
The purpose of the Annual Maddie Matters Charity Golf Classic is to bring friends, family, business colleagues, and fellow professionals together in an exciting, fun, relaxing, yet slightly competitive golfing event. While doing so, they are encouraging the community to raise funds for Kids Cancer Care, so that other families have the same support should they go through a similar experience.
It doesn’t matter if you shoot 150, are a scratch golfer, or just came off winning the U.S. Open, everyone is welcome at this event. You can win division championship trophies, hole prizes, raffle prizes, silent auction merchandise, drink tickets, get swag, and so much more. So don’t miss this awesome experience, it’s certain you will be talking about it for months. The Maddie Matters team will be working hard so you have an amazing time at this inaugural tournament and they can’t wait to meet you!

The HeatherGlen Golf Course
In a serene area just outside busy Calgary, you'll find HeatherGlen, a nearby golfing destination with 18 holes of adventure amid beautiful city and mountain views. This Calgary golf course is a place you may have heard about before, maybe you've even visited once or twice. But HeatherGlen has made great changes in its layout and facilities in the past few years, and you really should play here again to find out why this club is growing in popularity.
Once upon a time, ours was a private club that was built in the 1980s. Then in the early 1990s, new owners arrived and launched a renovation that has turned HeatherGlen into a showpiece among Calgary golf courses, a place where golfers of all skill levels can have a great time and a facility that aims to provide the public golfer with beautifully maintained facilities and great prices..

Time: 8:30am Shotgun Start, 1:30pm Clubhouse Social, 2:30pm Dinner (if Eagle package option selected), 3:00pm Prizes and Awards (times are subject to change).
Format: Texas Scramble - 4 Player Team. Each player shoots a ball at each shot location, team decides which shot to keep.
Divisions: Teams will be placed within Divisions with those with similar handicaps.
Tournament Fees: Foursome packages available, no GST.

Birdie Package Foursome

How Do You Register your foursome?
Registration is easy, just follow the steps below and you will be registered. Once registered, you will receive a Maddie Matters welcome information email with all details.
1) Please email the Maddie Matters Golf Charity Classic General Manager, Patrick at patrick@wheelhousebay.com with the following.
- Team Name
- Team Captain Full Name
- All 4 Golfers Full Names and Email Addresses
- Team Average Handicap
2) Proceed to make payment for one of the following packages, no GST. Please reference your team name in the PayPal transaction or the e-transfer.
- Via the PayPal link below.
- Via E-Transfer to: maddiematters@pemadale.com.

All details regarding the entire tournament will be sent out August 15, 2024.
Important Registration Notes
If for any reason the tournament is suspended from playing, the course will offer a gift card for 18 holes and cart to all players. The dinner and celebration will still take place at 3:30pm at the HeatherGlen Clubhouse.
No refunds will be permitted within 30 days prior to the event. We recommend selling your spot to another participant.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 for Kids Cancer Care Alberta so we can provide a significant contribution in our community. We encourage each foursome team to raise at least $500, while not mandatory, but it is really easy to do with minimal time effort.
